Regina Nahrstedt (research technician).
Celina Schreiber (research technician). As a technical employee in cell biology, I am particularly fascinated by neuronal cells. Understanding their functions and interactions is important for developing new approaches for the long-term treatment of neurological diseases.

Nelson David Villalba Moreno (Postdoctoral researcher). I am a physician and Postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of medicine and molecular neuroscience. My goal is to better understand the mechanisms governing neurodegeneration and brain structure.
Sophie Kothe (PhD student). I did my Master in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program of the University of Bremen and am now excited to start my PhD. My goal is to better understand how the neuronal network is working by studying the activity of an enzyme called FIH. I am particularly interested in the changes the brain undergoes during ageing and neurodegenerative diseases.

Verena Fischer (administrative assistant). Verena oversees various administrative aspects of the workgroup. Outside of work she likes to travel and get to know different cultures.
